The Agentic Era, Live: A Recap of Agility 2026

Chicago, IL | May 12–13, 2026 | The Westin Chicago River North

London, UK | June 2–3, 2026 | Bankside Hotel in London

Before ‘Agentic AI’ became the industry’s favorite new buzzword, we flagged 2026 as the year everything would change for GRC. Turns out, we were right, and Agility made it real.

Across two events, Chicago in May and London in June, more than 300 GRC professionals gathered to do what the best in this industry always do: learn from each other, challenge their assumptions, and leave with something they can actually use. Here’s a look back at what made Agility 2026 one for the books, plus how to watch everything on demand.

Chicago: Where the Agentic Era Took the Stage

Both events kicked off with Build Bash, a hands-on build-off designed to help Risk Cloud users level up into power users. It set exactly the right tone: sleeves rolled up, real problems on the table, and a room full of people who came ready to build something. By the time the main event opened, the energy was already high.

LogicGate leaders Matt Kunkel, Diego Panama, and Jon Seigler kicked things off with The Agentic Era of GRC: What’s Changed and What’s Coming Next, a keynote that didn’t just describe where GRC is heading, but showed it.

More on that in a moment.

Wednesday morning, Emily Heath moderated The 2030 Risk Horizon: A CISO Power Panel, bringing together security leaders to explore what it actually means to maintain resilience in the face of technological churn, rising costs, and an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape. The conversation was candid, sharp, and exactly what a room full of risk professionals needed to hear.

Then came Aron Ralston.

Closing out Wednesday afternoon with The Boulder Mindset: Choosing How We Respond, Ralston drew a line from a Utah canyon to the boardroom that nobody in the room will forget quickly. His framework for making high-stakes decisions under pressure, with incomplete information, no clear playbook, and everything on the line, landed with the kind of clarity that only a story like his can deliver. It was the closing keynote, and it earned every second of the conversation that spilled into the networking hour that followed.

The Moment Everyone Was Waiting For: Config Newton, Live

One of the most anticipated moments of the week was the live Config Newton demo, and it delivered.

Watching the world’s first Agentic GRC Engineer work in real time has a different effect than reading about it. Attendees saw firsthand how Config Newton can interpret complex program requirements, navigate Risk Cloud, and build complete programs like a seasoned GRC practitioner. In minutes and autonomously.

We also introduced four new workflow agents at Agility: Third-Party Risk Management Agents route vendors based on risk signals, complete formal assessments, then flag findings for human-led remediation; AI Governance Agents triage new use cases, score them against your risk framework, and flag recommended mitigations for human review. These Agents move work forward in minutes to keep your team focused on the judgment calls that matter. Every action is logged, every decision is auditable, and practitioners stay in the loop on what gets approved.

Risk leaders jumped at the chance for early access, before all agents become widely available in late 2026 and early 2027.

If you weren’t in the room for the demo, the on-demand content is the next best thing.

Three Tracks, Real Takeaways

Beyond the keynotes, 25 sessions across three tracks gave attendees the depth to go wide or go deep, depending on where they are in their GRC journey.

The AI Innovator track explored what it looks like to adopt and govern AI at scale, from AI Governance that Scales to Leading AI-Augmented Teams in Risk Cloud. The Career Builder track gave leaders the language and frameworks to elevate their strategic impact; sessions on risk narratives, GRC planning, and TAM partnerships were standing-room conversations. And the Power User track did what it always does best: sent people home with things they could implement on Monday morning.

Run GRC

Not every highlight happens on stage. The Run GRC t-shirts were, by popular demand, a moment of their own. If you know, you know. If you weren’t there, this is one of many reasons to join us in 2027.

Attendees also enjoyed many opportunities to network and explore the surrounding cities. In Chicago, we welcomed everyone at the House of Blues, featuring live music and a setting designed for connection.

Agility Goes Global: A Note from London

Build Bash was hosted for the first time in London – and it measured up to the hype. Risk Leaders dove into the platform and leveraged Config Newton to master “The Traitors” themed competition. Build Bash…is now global!

Whether it was PwC leading the discussion on operationalizing Provision 29, Kam Karaji from the NFL giving a galvanizing glance at the physical and cyber security threats possible at every major event, or lightening round questions between LogicGate’s experts and customer power users, every room was palpable with energy and enthusiasm.

There was no better way to conclude the powerful event than with a Power Panel, addressing the hard questions, sharing fears and opportunities, and how risk leaders have transitioned the “check the box cost center” perception of GRC to one of the most influential parts of the business. The panel was so well received, that we’re packaging and shipping it on our next GRC & ME podcast – so stay tuned.

And there is no better way to network than enjoying a proper pint and swapping stories with peers. Hundreds of connections were made, strengthening the GRC community.

The energy from Chicago carried across the Atlantic.
